Help! My menu plan looks much too much like it did in New York. You know, when I had a full time job and we ate the same 12 meals over and over again? Here it is: burgers, chicken stir fry, eggs, pizza, pasta and tacos in various orders with the occasional fish or roast dinner thrown in there.
Plus, I want to drum up some comments on the blog.
So, I'm making an appeal for your favorite dinner. Please leave a comment below indicating a meal we should try.
I've been cooking two big things a week and using leftover for future dinners and lunches. Here are two hits from recent weeks. I look forward to seeing what others offer up.

I wish I could help, but you just ran through my entire menu too - and I'm not proud of it. I actually came from Facebook hoping I could take inspiration from your ideas which HAD to better than what I've done. ;^)
ReplyDeleteWhat about soup? chili, potato leek kale, lemon chicken rice, thai lemongrass basil sprout, udon mushroom, carrot ginger, 10 vegetable . . . the possibilities are endless!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd crepes with different fillings . . .
Chicken pot pie, and use a piece of dough to make an "M" (and maybe even a "K" and a P") to decorate the top.
ReplyDelete@ Merilee: thank you for reintroducing me to old pal tuna.
ReplyDelete@Cheryl: my post Thanksiving soup was a hit, even with the kid, so I think I will try more. Do you have any good recipes?
@Amelia: I saved turkey just for a pie, but I'm intimidated by the crust. What do you use for the crust?
1 C flour
ReplyDelete1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon margarine or butter
1/3 C milk
(or, on a lazy day, refrigerated pastry dough)
Thanks. I think even I can handle that!
ReplyDeleteI've been cooking from here a lot:
